Do I need to complete all the lessons? I already know how to pronounce the letter “T”!

You’d be surprised! Although you have complete flexibility to follow the course your own way, we recommend at least having a look at each lesson. Sometimes, small adjustments in pronunciation can lead to big improvements in your accent. If your native language has sounds that are very similar to Spanish, you’ll probably be able to move through some lessons quickly and jump to the next one without any trouble.

Is the course entirely in Spanish?

The answer is yes! All the videos are in Spanish, and you have the option to watch them with Spanish and English subtitles.

What variety of Spanish do you teach in your pronunciation course?

The goal isn’t to copy a specific accent or sound like someone from Madrid, Bogotá or Buenos Aires. It’s to help you speak more clearly, with better rhythm and a more natural flow – without losing your identity.

In the course, we use a standard variety of Spanish from central-northern Spain as a base, because it’s clear and well documented for teaching purposes.

But you’ll also hear examples and explanations from other Spanish varieties, so you can adapt depending on the country, region or situation you’re in.

The important thing isn’t to sound like someone else – it’s to sound clearer, more natural, and more like yourself, no matter which variety of Spanish you’re learning.

Does the course include live lessons?

No, it doesn’t. And it’s not necessary. This is a pre-recorded course with video lessons, so you can complete them whenever you want and as many times as you need.

How many lessons should I do per week?

That's entirely up to you! We expect most students will take between 2 and 3 months to complete the course, but one of the advantages of this format is that you set your own pace.

Do I need any additional resources for the course?

We recommend using a mirror — a small handheld one can be really helpful for observing the position of your tongue, lips, etc. We also suggest using your mobile phone as a voice recorder.

What else do I need to know?

The most important thing to know is that practice makes perfect. If you want to see results, you’ll need to put in the work. But if you make the effort, the improvements will come!
